Hello! My name is Tanya Johnson and I’m the driving force behind Soraya Kennel. I currently live in Princeton, MN with my husband of over 18 years. We have no human children just the kinds with four paws. This is a labor of love for me NOT a full-time job. My husband’s family owns a business and I have a full-time job working there.

Even though the dogs are a hobby for me, I do take it very seriously. My dogs are in continuous obedience and agility training. I believe in not only getting conformation correct to breed standard but also look for working abilities. I like the titles before and after the name. When I do a breeding (which will be on a rare occasion), I will be very selective on who will get the honor of taking one of my babies home. Just because you contact me does NOT mean you will be able to purchase one of my puppies. There will be a thorough screening process in order to get to know you and determine if we are a good fit for one another. BethAnn Nidelkoff, Mount Olympus Rottweilers – She has expertly handled some of my dogs in conformation. Justice finished his Championship with Beth in just 3 months. She is the breeder of Shakira and has excellent taste and incredible knowledge when it comes to the conformation of the Rottweiler.

Tiffany Huebner, Dogue Style Dog Training – I take my dogs to training and daycare at Tiffany’s facility. Her husband Blake is responsible for many of the photos on this page and graciously helped me with my site design.

Scot, my husband – last and certainly not least my husband… He is supportive of me and helps out with the dogs every day. He contributes financially to more than his share of the care of the dogs too! I don’t know where I’d be without him. He’s my best friend followed by the dogs of course!

Justice is currently working on his CD title and has his Rally excellent title. Shakira is a finished champion in conformation, has her Rally Advance title and currently working on her excellent title. Bubble’s just needs one major to be a finished champion in conformation and currently working on her obedience titles. Keebler is well, “cookie man” who has his Rally novice title and LOVES to visit kids at school and do therapy work. Dalton who is from the litter of Justice and Shakira this past spring recieved his CGC at 6 months of age and currently working on agility and obedience titles. Look for all of them in the agility and obedience ring in 2010!
